City of Big Shoulders Vows to Become City of Big Brother

Chicago's Democrat Mayor, Richard Daley, is promising a surveillance camera on every street corner in Chicago. But if the City of Big Shoulders is to become the City of Big Brother, how about publicly accessible surveillance cameras, with audio, in the Mayor's office, in the offices of the City Council, in the Mayor's Conference Room, in the back hallways of City Hall, and the front and back doors of the Mayor's home.

If government is to use the latest technology to watch every move of the people, shouldn't the people demand the right to watch every move of the government, particularly one known to produce so many corrupt politicians?
