Though I haven't yet picked up the Koran...I have been unable to put a very enlightening read down, "The Blood of Lambs" by Kamal Saleem - a former radical Islamic terrorist, now a Christian, living covertly here in America. He shares many insights. Frightening insights.
Memoirs - 2007 - p. 87:
"At speaking engagements in Michigan, California, and elsewhere, protesters from groups like the Muslim Student Association began showing up to accuse Zak, Walid and me of preaching a message of 'intolerance' and 'hate.'
...Walid's response: Do I promote hate speech? Sure. I hate terrorism.
In another confrontation...outside a Seattle mosque, a Muslim man squared off against me, nose to nose: 'How dare you speak against Allah and the Prophet?' he sputtered, eyes flashing.
'We are converting twenty to twenty-five thousand Americans every year to Islam. We will seed your women, educate and convert your children, and have this nation! By the grace of Allah, we have nothing but time!'
A statement worth studying for those who wonder about the recent explosion in this country of the 'religion of peace.' "

BTW, the book teaches that Islamic women are literally referred to as "the ground that we walk on" by Islamic men. Islamic women have absolutely no honor. In this life, or the next. A small consolation for a devoted wife and mother would be perhaps to 'manage' the concubine of the seventy-two virgins which will attend the man.
Thanks very much for sharing your thoughts, Mab, about The Blood of Lambs. I had not heard about that book, but checked it out at Amazon. They have a superb video profile of the author, and I will definitely read that book. If you or anyone would like to see the video at Amazon or purchase the book, I have added a link to it in my Amazon widget, in the right sidebar.
BTW, if ever you would like to write a book review or a column on any issue, I would be pleased to post it.
Mr. Saleem gave an interview on CBN recently, and I was just so touched by his compassion and his concern for America to wake up -- soon. According to him, 9/11 will have no comparison to what could happen next.
Keep up the the great work keeping us informed. We are a little hesitant to trust Pres. PW's information network!
