The 25th Anniversary of President Reagan's 1984 Presidential Nominee Acceptance Speech

Today marks the 25th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan accepting the nomination of the Republican National Convention in Dallas. He would go on to win 49 of the 50 states and sweep 525 of 538 electoral votes. It was a campaign of "no pale pastels" and the conservative vision expressed in the great speech that follows, still resonates in the hearts of the American people because it is true and timeless.
