The Episcopal Church has approved the election of a lesbian assistant bishop in the Diocese of Los Angeles, making her the second openly homosexual bishop in the global Anglican Communion.Episcopal conservatives said the approval of the Rev. Mary Glasspool was "grieving the heart of God."
