Dead Man Walking in Pennsylvania: Obama Backs Specter

The defeat of tired old former RINO, Arlen Specter, in tomorrow's Democrat primary, will be nearly as sweet as J. D. Hayworth's retirement of John McCain. And if it had been politically expedient for him to do so, McCain would have followed Specter across the aisle and called himself a Democrat too. They are poster boys for what has been wrong with the Republican brand.

AP reports that Specter, after holding a double digit lead, is now locked in a tight race with U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak.
