President could get power to turn off Internet
A US Senate committee has approved a wide-ranging cybersecurity bill that some critics have suggested would give the US president the authority to shut down parts of the Internet during a cyberattack.

ReplyDeleteThe photograph included in this entry confuses Fascism and Communism. Irregardless of any similarities that may exist between the two philosophies/systems, they are nonetheless fundamentally, mortally opposed. Indeed, a particularly brutal war between Fascists and Communists was waged from 1941-1945 for that very reason. While it can be argued that some nations claiming to be communist/socialist are in fact fascist in nature (Cuba, post-Mao China, post-Stalin/pre-1991 Russia, etc.), ie. "social-fascist", it is simply inaccurate from a historical, philosophical, or economic perspective to label Marx, Lenin, and Mao as representatives of "Fascism."
