The S.C. Public Charter School District has launched a nonprofit foundation to help raise money for its schools.
The
S.C. Foundation for Public Charter Schools will build financial support
for the district’s 17 existing charter schools and nine set to open
statewide in the fall, according to a news release from the district.
Daniel Cassidy of Greenville was hired as the foundation’s executive director.
