Pat Buchanan: Hillary’s Watergate?
By Patrick J. Buchanan
After posting Friday’s column, “A Presidency from Hell,” about the investigations a President Hillary Clinton would face, by afternoon it was clear I had understated the gravity of the situation.
Networks exploded with news that FBI Director James Comey had informed Congress he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s email scandal, which he had said in July had been concluded.
“Bombshell” declared Carl Bernstein. The stock market tumbled. “October surprise!” came the cry.
The only explanation, it seemed, was that the FBI had uncovered new information that could lead to a possible indictment of the former secretary of state, who by then could be the president of the United States.

Pat Buchanan: Has Trump Found the Formula?
Stripped of its excesses, Donald Trump’s Wednesday speech contains all the ingredients of a campaign that can defeat Hillary Clinton this fall.
Indeed, after the speech ended Clinton was suddenly defending the Clinton Foundation against the charge that it is a front for a racket for her family’s enrichment.
The specific charges in Trump’s indictment of Clinton: She is mendacious, corrupt, incompetent and a hypocrite.

Pat Buchanan: Hillary Blames the Cops
Had Freddie Gray been robbed, beaten and left to die in the streets of his Baltimore neighborhood, no one would be mourning him today.
No one would be marching for Freddie. No one would be using Freddie as the new poster child of “Black Lives Matter!”
No one would care, three weeks later, but his family and friends.

Dick Morris Sums Up Hillary Clinton
If you happen to see the Bill Clinton five minute TV ad for Hillary in which he introduces the commercial by saying he wants to share some things we may not know about Hillary's background .. beware as I was there for most of their presidency and know them better than just about anyone, I offer a few corrections.

Has Hillary Ever Been Right?
By Patrick J. Buchanan
Sen. Rand Paul raises an interesting question:
When has Hillary Clinton ever been right on foreign policy?
The valkyrie of the Democratic Party says she urged President Obama to do more to aid Syrian rebels years ago. And last summer, she supported air strikes on Bashar Assad’s regime.

William Hague Hails 'Unbreakable Alliance' Between Britain and USA
William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, has hailed the “unbreakable alliance” between Britain and the USA following talks with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.
On his first trip abroad since being appointed to head the Foreign Office on Tuesday, Mr Hague said the US was “without doubt the most important ally of the UK” and welcomed President Barack Obama’s description of the “extraordinary special relationship” between the two countries.
In a joint press conference following talks dominated by Afghanistan, Iran and the economic crisis in the eurozone, Mrs Clinton said she was “very intrigued” by the outcome of last week’s election in the UK.
“We will continue to build on the deep and abiding trust that exists between the British and American people for a very long time,” said Mrs Clinton.
Mrs Clinton said that the General Election and the smooth transfer of power to the new coalition Government in the UK were “two powerful symbols of the enduring democratic traditions that our two nations share”.
She added: “We are very intrigued by, and will follow closely, the latest incarnation of this long democratic tradition.
“We are reminded again that our common values are the foundation of a historic alliance that really undergirds our commons aspirations and common concerns.”

Obama Finally Generates Bi-Partisanship
327 members of the U.S. House of Representatives -- three quarters of that body -- have signed a letter expressing concern about "the highly publicized tensions" in US-Israeli relations. The letter leaves unsaid that President Obama has contributed mightily to both the tensions and their publicity, but that fact is almost too obvious to require recitation. The letter was addressed to Secretary of State Clinton, another major contributor to the problems it cites.
