Schola Cantorum Cantate Domino - "Miserere mei, Deus" - Gregorio Allegri (1582-1652)

The Schola Cantorum Cantate Domino was founded in 1959 by its current conductor, Father Michaƫl Ghijs. Its members are all pupils or former pupils of the St. Martin's Institute, a regular secondary school in Aalst, a town approximately 25 km from Brussels, the center of Europe. The aim of the choir, as its name expresses, is to sing to the Lord. The choir consists of 90 persons, boys and men, aged between 10 and 40.

'Six Shot Dead' in Egyptian Religious Clashes

From The Age (AU)

Six Coptic Christians were shot dead and at least 45 were injured in religious clashes with Muslims in the Egyptian capital, a Coptic priest told AFP on Wednesday.

"We have at the clinic the bodies of six Copts, all of them shot," local priest Samann Ibrahim told AFP.
The clashes between Christians and Muslims erupted in the poor working class district of Moqattam late Tuesday after at least 1,000 Christians gathered there to protest the burning of a church last week.

Europe Takes the Lead in Defending Freedom and Western Values

Whatever happened to the good old days when the U.S. aggressively confronted evil-doers and France screamed about our defiling the altar of the United Nations? Now, it is France and other European allies who are leading the way in confronting brutal dictators while the U.S. drags its feet so as not to look like an anti-Muslim resource-grabber. And while the U.S. dithers on Libya despite direct requests for help, suspicions in the Arab mind are being reconfirmed that it cares about their well-being as much as Charlie Sheen cares about sobriety.

James O'Keefe Exposes NPR as Traitorous Collaborator with Muslim Brotherhood

"It is very clear we would be better off in the long-run without Federal Funding."
 - Ron Schiller, President of NPR Foundation

Senior Executives at NPR meet with what they think is the Muslim Brotherhood Front Group to solicit $5 million, and discuss their federal funding, "fanatical" Christians, Zionists in the media, Tea Partiers, Republicans, uneducated Americans and Juan Williams.

"All things considered," it's quite a revelation about who these people really are.  We agree with NPR on one point, it would be in their best interest, and the nation's, for Congress to eliminate all of their public funding.

A two hour, unedited videotape of O'Keefe's meeting with the NPR officials is available here.

Defund Obamacare's Secret Stash

It would be funny were they not so evil.
Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann has characterized the following slush fund, buried deep within Obamacare, as "gangster government," and that is precisely what it is.  A Democrat Congress abdicated its responsibilities and a thoroughly corrupt Obama regime behaved  the way corrupt Chicago politicians do.  It is precisely for this kind of thuggish defiance of Constitutional law that we have called for the President's impeachment.

While Obamacare is rightly notorious as a fiscal nightmare, less well known is just how massively it transferred power from Congress to the executive branch. In fact, the full scope of Congress’s abdication is still unknown. What is now known, however, is that deeply buried within Obamacare was a $105 billion slush fund that assures its implementation into the future, no matter what future voters think or want.

Impeach Him Now!

We recall that in 2006 the United Methodist Church's chief social-issues spokesman, the Rev. Jim Winkler, called on Congress to impeach President Bush for pursuing war against radical Islamic terrorists.  He stated that "there was nothing Christian" in the President's response to the 9/11 attacks.

We believe there is "nothing Christian" in flouting the Constitution of the United States, refusing the duty a President has to defend and enforce the nation's laws, and there is manifestly "nothing Christian" in the President's using the powers of his office to war against the foundation of Christian civilization, the family.  There is "nothing Christian" in saying during his 2008 campaign: "I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman" and then reversing that position three years later.  Was the President lying to Americans then, or is he lying now?  What other presidential convictions are built on shifting sands?

We strongly doubt that Obama is eligible for the office  that has been entrusted to him.  There is no longer any doubt that he is unqualified, and the articles for impeachment are many.  We join Representative Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) in calling on Congress to impeach Barack Hussein Obama for all of these and for refusing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in federal court.  Please sign the petition calling for the impeachment of this anti-American and anti-Christian president.

Catholic Bishops Join Evangelicals, Others in Urging House to Defend DOMA

Archbishop Wilton Gregory of Atlanta, chairman of the US bishops’ committee on ecumenical and interreligious affairs, and Bishop Salvatore Cordileone of Oakland, chairman of the bishops’ ad hoc committee on defense of marriage, have called upon the US House of Representatives to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in federal court cases. The Obama administration announced recently that it would no longer defend the 1996 law against legal challenges.

“By choosing to no longer defend DOMA in federal court because it believes the law to be unconstitutional, the Obama Administration has undermined the rule of law and the separation of powers,” the bishops said. “The House has the authority to rectify this lapse in judgment. We implore you to lead the House to take the important, necessary step to protect American law, American families, and American values by defending DOMA and protecting the true meaning of marriage.”

The bishops were joined by evangelical, Southern Baptist, traditional Anglican, Foursquare Gospel, and Sikh leaders.
