Bishop Calls on All Christians to Leave Democratic Party

Bishop E. W. Jackson
Bishop E.W. Jackson is making a war cry: “Let God’s people go!”

Jackson, a Marine Corps veteran, graduate of Harvard Law School and adjunct professor of law, is echoing the words of Moses in a campaign to persuade Christians of all races that the time has come for a wholesale exodus of Christians from the Democrat Party.

The former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia points to what he calls the Democrat party's “cult-like devotion” to abortion; the rejection of the traditional biblical model of family; the hostility hurled at those who express a Christian viewpoint such as Chick-fil-A president and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy; the actions of organizations such as the ACLU and the Foundation For Freedom From Religion in suing cities and towns for displaying crosses at memorials or mentioning the name Jesus in prayer at official events.

The organizations' presidents, Kelly Shackelford and Tony Perkins (Perkins will serve on the Republican platform committee) will present the survey and its findings on Monday, August 20 at 1:00 PM EST during platform week of the Republican National Convention at the Marriott Waterside Hotel, Tampa, FL.

'Adoro Te Devote' by Saint Thomas Aquinas

English Translation:
I devoutly adore you, O hidden Deity,
Truly hidden beneath these appearances.
My whole heart submits to you,
And in contemplating you,
It surrenders itself completely.
Sight, touch, taste are all deceived
In their judgment of you,
But hearing suffices firmly to believe.
I believe all that the Son of God has spoken;
There is nothing truer than this word of truth.
On the cross only the divinity was hidden,
But here the humanity is also hidden.
I believe and confess both,
And ask for what the repentant thief asked.
I do not see the wounds as Thomas did,
But I confess that you are my God.
Make me believe more and more in you,
Hope in you, and love you.
O memorial of our Lord's death!
Living bread that gives life to man,
Grant my soul to live on you,
And always to savor your sweetness.
Lord Jesus, Good Pelican,
wash me clean with your blood,
One drop of which can free
the entire world of all its sins.
Jesus, whom now I see hidden,
I ask you to fulfill what I so desire:
That the sight of your face being unveiled
I may have the happiness of seeing your glory. Amen

Russian Orthodox and Polish Catholic Church Heads Aim to Reconcile

The heads of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Polish Catholic Church have signed a joint memorandum aimed at reconciling relations between two countries.

By Matthew Day, Warsaw

In the ornate setting of Warsaw's royal castle Patriarch Kirill, head of Russia's Orthodox Church, and Archbishop Jozef Michalik called for forgiveness and understanding.

"We call upon our faithful to pray for the forgiveness of injustices and all the wrongs committed against one another," said the text. "The events of our common, often difficult and tragic history sometimes raise grievances and accusations that do not allow old wounds to heal." The memorandum has already been likened to a historic 1965 letter on forgiveness from Polish bishops to their German counterparts that paved the way for a new era of relations between Poland and Germany after the horrors of the Second World War.

Poland's close friendship with Germany now stands in marked contrast with Warsaw's relations with Moscow, which are still dogged by mistrust and a widespread feeling in Poland that Russia has done too little to atone for historical wrongs inflicted on the Poles.

Russia's apparent inability to come completely clean and show true regret over the 1940 massacre of thousands of Poles at the hands of Stalin's secret police in the Katyn forests, and the imposition of communist rule after the war still rankles Poland, and colours relations between the two countries.

In response Moscow has long complained that a Polish obsession with history gets in the way of good relations, and interferes with Russia's relations with the West as a whole.

Social Security Administration to Purchase 174 Thousand Rounds of Hollow Point Bullets

Non-military government agencies of the Obama Administration have purchased nearly one billion bullets. Why does the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), need bullets?  Are they expecting an insurrection over an incorrect weather forecast? On the heals of major arms purchases by the Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration has now purchased and distributed 174,000 rounds of hollow point bullets to 41 locations.

What are they planning? Against whom is the mad narcissist in the White House arming?

Do you think this is appropriate in a free and democratic republic?

Do any of our readers know of any Member of Congress or candidate for state or national office who has spoken out on this and demanded answers?
These are not rhetorical questions; if anyone has information we would like to hear from you.

Preparing for civil unrest? Ammunition to be delivered to 41 locations across U.S.

First it was the Department of Homeland Security, then it was the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and now the Social Security Administration is set to purchase 174,000 rounds of hollow point bullets that will be delivered to 41 locations across the country.
